WHAT IS PCS?
Passage Charter School is a public High School designed specifically to meet the educational needs of pregnant and parenting teens in Montrose, Delta and Ouray counties.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Students who graduate from PCS earn a high school diploma. These unique components contribute to the success of our students:
The PCS educational program has three main areas of focus: ACADEMIC SKILLS, PARENTNG SKILLS, AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS.
Students learn through a combination of teacher-directed classes, self-paced independent study, community resource programs, and through work experience.
Students work with a teacher to develop a personalized learning plan that addresses the students’ educational and life goals. Through this plan, the students commit to a program that is directed by his/her own interests, needs, and motivation.
PCS CHILD CARE:
PCS features an on-site state-licensed child care center for children ages 0-3 years. The center provides an enriched environment for little ones and serves as a learning laboratory for students to enhance their parenting skills.
